Following requests from many members of the Management Committee, a BailriggFM Blog has now been created.  Please head over to bailriggfm.co.uk/blog and take a look.

In the future we hope this can be a good tool for members and propective members to get a feel of what it is like to be involved with BailriggFM and also what it is like to be involved in a particular team.

BAILRIGG FM WIN SRA AWARD

Bailrigg FM have won their first Student Radio Award since 2004 in the category of Best Technical Achievement. The entry, created by former Head of Music Grace Zarczynska and former Chief Engineer Chris Kalkov, contained a computer program capable of switching between many different audio streams. The system was used during the recent Roses tournament to switch between the many commentary feed from different areas of campus.

The award was claimed by the current Station Manager Charlie Edwards, Assistant Station Manager Curtis Kennington, former Station Manager Rachel Harvey and entrants Chris Kalkov and Grace Zarczynska.
Curtis Kennington had this to say: "This is an amazing achievement for the station, with our last award being won back in 2004 for 'Best Station Sound'. I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the project and I hope this will be the first of many to more to come in the future and hopefully next year"
